Job Description

We are adding a passionate individual with great customer service, relationship skills and high integrity to our team as a HR Manager / Recruiter. As typical at startups, this position will span several roles including recruiting, HR management, office coordination and more. It is a fantastic opportunity to directly impact our success and help transition Psionic into the its next stage of growth.

  • You come in having the insight to understand your own daily objectives based on priority and game plan being part of an awesome team of folks.
  • Deliver a superior full cycle recruiting experience (sourcing, recruiting, placement) to both hiring managers and external candidates
  • Interview (phone and in-person) job applicants, compare their qualifications to job requirements and manage the interview process.
  • Use major boards (Indeed, Glassdoor, ZipRecruiter, others) and social media, including LinkedIn, and referrals to attract qualified candidates.
  • Develop, communicate, and coach company policies and procedures.
  • Process people operation-related administrative tasks, such as new hires, employment change forms, coaching forms, and benefits.
  • Manage various aspects of various trainings and system implementations.

What We Expect

  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, for interacting with employees, management and vendors, i.e. calm, professional, and empathetic to all levels of management, employees, customers and vendors.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.
  • Previous experience delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong detail orientation; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and record keeping skills.

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in People Operations/Human Resources.
  • BS degree (in Human Resources or related field preferred) or higher
  • Human Resources certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred
  • Excellent MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • An ability to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies
